Japanese Nanban art

The etymology of the word “Nanban” connects its meaning to “southern barbarians”. The largest collections are in the Kobe Museum and in Lisbon, at the National Museum of Ancient Art.

Atribui-se ao vocábulo Nanban a etimologia “bárbaros do sul”.
