Potsdam (19th century)
This Prussian city is situated near the river Havel, an area of lakes and forests. It became world famous because of the so called “big three” leaders’ conference (Truman, Churchill, Stalin). The conference took place from July 16 to August 2, 1945, and was held in the Cecilienhof palace of the Hohenzollern family.
Esta cidade Prussiana situa-se junto ao rio Havel, numa zona de lagos e florestas. Tornou-se mundialmente conhecida devido à conferência dos dirigentes denominados 'big three' (Truman, Churchill, Stalin). Esta ocorreu de 16 de Julho a 2 de Agosto de 1945 e realizou-se no palácio Cecilienhof da família Hohenzollern.
