Germanic mythology by Emil Doepler younger
Odin, father of the Germanic gods, lived in a palace in Asgard. In here you could find the Valhalla, the place where the Valkyries, under the orders of Freya, carried the fallen heroes on the battlefields. (Martin Oldenburg; Walhall, die Götterwelt der Germanen, Berlin 1900).
Odin, pai dos deuses Germânicos, habitava um palácio em Asgard. Neste situava-se o Valhala, local para onde as Valquírias, às ordens de Freia, transportavam os heróis mortos nos campos de batalha. (Martin Oldenburg; Walhall, die Götterwelt der Germanen, Berlin 1900).
