Lisbon and Tagus by Jean-Baptiste Pillement
The French Jean-Baptiste Pillement (1728-1808) came from Lyon to the Iberian Peninsula at the age of 17. In Portugal he refused the position of court painter. He preferred to continue his European pilgrimage.
