15th century proteinous food
The manuscript Tacuinum Sanitatis was based on the work “Taqwin al-Sihha” by Ibn Butlan (1038-1075), a Christian physician in Baghdad. The illuminations were taken from Ms 4182 (15th century) from Casanatense Library in Rome.
O manuscrito Tacuinum Sanitatis baseia-se na obra Taqwin al-Sihha de Ibn Butlan (1038-1075), médico cristão de Bagdad. As iluminuras foram retiradas do Ms 4182 (séc. xv) da Biblioteca Casanatense de Roma.
