Country and sea by Anton Mauve


The Dutch painter Rudolf Anton Mauve (1838-1898) belonged to The Hague School. He was a friend of Jozef Israëls and he married a cousin of Van Gogh. Many of his paintings are in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
