It was formed with pictures from the “Kunstkammer” Saxony Electors. It has in its collection more than 700 works from the 15-18th centuries, mainly by Italian and Dutch artists.

A galeria formou-se com quadros provenientes da Kunstkammer dos Eleitores da Saxónia. Possui no seu espólio mais de 700 obras dos séculos XV-XVIII, principalmente de artistas Italianos e Holandeses.
