First Christians in Rome
St. Peter, St. Paul and other followers of Jesus Christ created a small Christian community in Rome. They underwent some of the martyrdoms of the time. Some emperors pursued and killed these Christians, sometimes in public performances.
São Pedro, São Paulo e outros seguidores de Jesus Cristo criaram uma pequena comunidade Cristã em Roma. Sofreram martírios próprios da época. Alguns imperadores perseguiram-nos e mataram-nos, por vezes em espectáculos públicos.
