Palanquin or litter in India
Palanquin or litter is the vehicle driven with human arms or shoulders, used especially in the East to carry economically privileged people. This type of transport was also made by using a net hang from a pole.
Por palanquim ou liteira entende-se o veículo conduzido com os braços ou ombros humanos, usado sobretudo no Oriente para transporte de seres humanos economicamente privilegiados. Este tipo de transporte também se fazia numa rede suspensa de um varal.
