Satires by Hans Weiditz the younger (1495-1537)

The German engraver Hans Weiditz the younger (1495-1537) illustrated two famous works: Francesco Petrarca’s “De remediis utriusque fortunae” or “Remedies for both good and bad fortune” and Otto Brunsfels’ “Herbarium”. He also left some satirical engravings.
