Zeus’s polygamy


The different variants of the mythological Greek god Zeus (Jupiter to the Romans) show that throughout his life he met several women besides Amalthea, his nursemaid, and Hera (Juno), whom he married, there were Io, Danae, Europe, Tethys, Semele, Mnemosyne, Antiope. He also kidnapped Ganymede

As diversas variantes mitológicas do deus grego Zeus (Júpiter para os romanos) mostram que ao longo da sua vida conheceu diversas mulheres para além de Amalteia, sua ama e Hera (Juno), com quem casou: Io, Danae, Europa, Tétis, Sémele, Mnemosina, Antíope. Também raptou Ganimedes.
