The so-called “S. Bartholomew’s night” occurred during the long struggle between Calvinists and Catholics during the reign of Charles IX of France. Some Huguenot leaders were eliminated, including the Admiral Gaspar de Coligny.
A denominada “noite de S. Bartolomeu” ocorreu durante a longa luta entre Calvinistas e Católicos durante o reinado de Carlos IX de França. Foram eliminados alguns dirigentes Huguenotes, entre os quais o Almirante Gaspar de Coligny.
