Granida and Daifilo


In 1605 the Dutch poet Pieter Corneliszoon Hooft (1581-1647) published the pastoral poem in which the shepherd Daifilo offers water from his shell to princess Granida who was lost during a hunt.

O poeta Holandês Pieter Corneliszoon Hooft (1581-1647) publicou em 1605 o poema pastoril em que o pastor Daifilo oferece água da sua concha à princesa Granida que se perdera durante uma caçada.
