China by William Alexander

The British artist William Alexander (1867-1816) produced the engravings on Macartney’s embassy to China in 1792. These were part of George Leonard Staunton work’s [account of and embassy from the King of Great Britain to the Emperor of China, G. Nichol, London 1797].
