Venice Carnival

The famous Venice Carnival resisted since the Middle Ages to the Napoleonic invasion. It has never regained the spontaneity and greatness of that time.

O famoso Carnaval de Veneza resistiu da Idade Média à invasão Napoleónica. Posteriormente nunca mais teve a mesma espontaneidade e grandeza.
