Theseus and Minotaur


Theseus, a demigod, son of Aegean, king of Athens, raised by his maternal grandfather in Argolida, had the Centaur Chiron as his master. During his long deeds ​​as a hero, he killed the Minotaur in the labyrinth of Crete with the help of Ariadne. After some time living together, Theseus abandoned her on the island of Naxos.

Life of Theseus

Theseus, son of Aegeus, king of Athens, means 'strong man par excellence'. He was a friend of Lapith Pirithous. Theseus eliminated Periphetes, son of Hephaestus, in Epidaurus; the villain Sinis, son of Poseidon and Siron in Megara. He fought against the Amazons. His 'eidolon' (soul without a body) helped the Athenians at the battle of Marathon.
He had a temple in the Agora of Athens.
