Theseus and Minotaur

Theseus, a demigod, son of Aegean, king of Athens, raised by his maternal grandfather in Argolida, had the Centaur Chiron as his master. Life of Theseus

Theseus, son of Aegeus, king of Athens, means 'strong man par excellence'. He was a friend of Lapith Pirithous. He had a temple in the Agora of Athens.
