Os manuscritos iluminados conhecidos por Tacuinum Sanitatis existem em Roma (Biblioteca Casanatensis 4182), Paris (BNF-Ms lat. 9333), Viena (Österreichchische Nationalbibliothek-codex vindobonensis SN 2644), Ruão (Rouen 3054), baseiam-se no tratado Taqwin al-Sihha bi al-Ashab al- Sitta de Ibn Butlan, médico de Bagdad. Foram iluminados no séc. XIV

The illuminated manuscripts known as Tacuinum Sanitatis exist in Rome (Library Casanatensis 4182), Paris (BNF, MS lat. 9333), Vienna (Nationalbibliothek, codex Österreichchische vindobonensis SN 2644), Rouen (Rouen 3054). They are based on the treaty of Taqwin al Sihha bi-al-Ashaba Ibn al-Sitta of Ibn Butlan, a physician from Baghdad. They were illuminated in the 15th century.
