Morpheus, god of sleep, Hypnos and Oneiroi’s father, enjoyed the distinction of appearing to the people he visited assuming the personality of their loved ones. Ovid in the Metamorphoses puts Morpheus in a cave set in a bed full of flowers.
Morfeu, deus do sono, pai de Hipnos e Oneiro, gozava da particularidade de aparecer aos visitados com a personalidade dos seres amados. Ovídio, nas Metamorfoses, coloca-o numa caverna, instalado num leito repleto de flores.
