Ruth and Boaz


Boaz of the tribe of Judah, King David’s great-grandfather, met Ruth, the Moabite widow, when she was working in Bethlehem on his land. They got married and generated Obed. Boaz was the name assigned to the left column of the Temple of Solomon.

Boaz da tribo de Judá, bisavô do rei David, conheceu Rute, viúva Moabita, quando esta trabalhou em Belém nas suas terras. Casaram e geraram Obed. Boaz era a designação atribuída à coluna esquerda do Templo de Salomão.
